“Another One”: Draymond Green Celebrates ex-Super Bowl Champ Bennie Fowler’s Latest Career Move

The Bay Area power forward Draymond Green has had a roller coaster ride this season. The 4x NBA Champion was suspended twice so far, and the second time could have even cost him his career. However, Green turned it around for himself and for his franchise. It has been all smiles and celebration since his return. Moreover, he further builds on his recovery as he celebrates his longtime friend’s new career move.

Former Super Bowl champion Bennie Fowler and Green have been close confidantes since high school. Fowler, who started off his sporting career with basketball, met the Golden State Warriors star at AAU basketball. He later found his interest in football and worked his way up in the NFL. In the meantime, the duo hadn’t lost their friendship amidst their busy careers.
While Green continues to strive for his team, Fowler pulled himself out of the NFL in 2020. Four years later, he found himself in a fitting career, as the advisor for Springbok Analytics.

In response to the update, Draymond Green took to his Instagram stories and shared an IG post about Fowler’s new career, along with a quote. It read, “They say Good Guys finish last… Another one for the Good Guys.”
After a successful stint with the Denver Broncos, winning his Super Bowl championship, Fowler seemed to have found a suitable career for himself. On top of it, Green doesn’t shy away from praising his friend.

The Green-Fowler friendship
Following their short stint together at the AAU basketball in high school, they continued their friendship since then. Other than Green, Fowler also maintained a bond with other NBA players like Trey Burke, Jared Sullinger, and Jordan Dumars. But, only Green went on to become a 4x NBA Champion, reported Denver Broncos.
Despite the fame and popularity, DrayMagic didn’t forget his old buds. In college, Green and Fowler stayed in the same building even though they played different sports. Speaking of Green in a 2015 interview, the ex-NFL player said, “When he’s around us, he’s a very laid-back guy, but he’s always got a chip on his shoulder.”
