“I Have 4 Wives”: 13 Years After $200,000 a Month Divorce, Shaquille O’Neal Makes a Heartening Marriage Confession

Shaunie Henderson requested custody of all four of their children when she filed for divorce from Shaquille O’Neal over a decade ago. The former couple shares four children together and Shaq had to pay $20,000 in monthly alimony and child support payments till last year, before Shaunie’s marriage to pastor Keion Henderson. The former NBA star has always been dedicated to his children and his responsibility to take care of his family. However, recently, Shaq made a shocking confession about his marital status that may surprise his fans.

Shaquille O’Neal and his ex-wife Shaunie had a tumultuous relationship that ended in divorce. Despite the split, Shaq has always spoken highly of Shaunie and accepted responsibility for the downfall of their marriage. In the meantime, it seems like $200k a month in divorce settlements didn’t estrange the Big Diesel from the institution of marriage, as he recently revealed that he has four wives.

Recently, Shaquille O’Neal appeared on the ‘It’s Non-Negotiable Podcast’ and made a shocking claim of having 4 wives. After being asked about being single and having any plans of getting married again, Shaq said “I have four wives”.

The hosts of the podcast refused to believe such an outlandish statement. Instead, they started naming different things that Shaq could be referring to as wives, like his career, family, etc. Shaquille O’Neal subsequently clarified what he actually meant.

He said, “I have three daughters. That’s a man’s job. The man, with his daughter and his wife, has the same responsibility: protect, provide, and love. And they actually act like wives – ‘Where you going?’, ‘What you doing?’, ‘Who was this?’.”

“And my mama. My father passed away about 10 years ago. Before he passed away, he said, ‘Make sure you take care of your mother.’ That’s my responsibility. That’s what I’m focused on right now. Will I get married again? I don’t know. Whoever will tolerate me,” Shaq added.

O’Neal has been linked to other women since his divorce from Shaunie, but she is still the only woman he has ever married. Shaunie, on the other hand, has moved on and recently married pastor Keion Henderson.

Despite the ups and downs of their relationship, Shaquille O’Neal and Shaunie have maintained a cordial relationship.
