On AEW Dynamite, the retirement match of Sting at Revolution 2024, the next pay-per-view of All Elite Wrestling, has been confirmed. After several months of speculation, Sting and Darby Allin will face The Young Bucks in a Tornado Tag-Team match that will headline the AEW show in Greensboro. The matchup became official when The Icon and The Daredevil accepted the challenge of Nicholas and Matthew Jackson. Speaking about a phone invitation Kevin Nash received from the Icon, the former revealed why he won’t be a part of it. And it has to do with his closeness with Triple H and the WWE. He said, “He asked me to be a part of it, and I just said that you know because of my positioning with the company, with WWE I couldn’t, you know. I mean, couldn’t even be there in the crowd. I went in the crowd; it would be you know. I just think he wanted me to be there because I was just one of the guys that’s SP with him the whole you know the whole run right? You know, I think he was disappointed I mean, I was disappointed. But I just, I knew. You know when you ask and there’s that three-four-second pause and it’s just like okay.”
