Sudden Loss of Verry Elleegant Leaves Horse Racing Fans Heartbroken: “Just awful news”

Verry Elleegant was a once-in-a-lifetime horse. Her ability to showcase incredible runs with extreme grace helped her win numerous races. The winner of the Group 1 race’s journey had come to an abrupt end because of her death. As per the legitimate sources, the horse passed away while giving birth to her first foal in France.

The news of her passing away has shaken the entire horse racing fraternity. Though after 4 winless runs, she had retired from racing, she still was a conventional breed of all times. Winner of the 2020 Caulfield Cup and the 2021 Melbourne Cup, she has been named the ‘Australasian Racehorse of the Year.’ Her unfortunate demise led every horse lover to grieve this very day.

After Verry Elegant’s death, her former trainer, Chris Waller’s barn, recently shared a downhearted post on the web, on behalf of the ownership group. With a meticulous approach to training horses, the stable secured the NSW Trainer Premierships and Group 1 race winners. In regards to his once-trained, Verry Elleegant, the X handle of the stable shared the tragic news.

Though grateful to the fantastic hands on the farm who looked after her in her end days, Chris Waller acknowledged their generous efforts and contributions made to Verry Elleegant. He ended his heartbroken post on X by holding in esteem her benefaction to the horse racing industry. He wrote, “We all saw the courage she had on the racetrack over many seasons, and she will never be forgotten by those close to her as well as the wider racing public who followed her career and loved her so much.” Moments after the post, fans started pouring in their shock and sadness over the incident.
