“What if I’m never allowed to do gymnastics again or I can never make it to the Olympics again?” – those lines of Suni Lee once desolated the internet, questioning her comeback. In 2023, the Tokyo Olympic champion had to cut short her NCAA gymnastics stint and pull out from several elite international contests. Giving the culminating reason, Suni Lee blamed her avoirdupois figure because of an incurable kidney ailment. But, flouting all the doubts and questions, the 20-year-old gymnast is on the Olympic road again, taking her chance one at a time.

The concerned IG post of Suni Lee flaunted the fan girl in Livvy Dunne.
Dunne commented on that occasion, “Can that be painted on my wall in my dorm?” Not just that, the LSU phenom crafted a series of parables for the Auburn legend on IG several times. Continuing her awe of Suni’s persona and performance, Olivia once went straight-faced to claim Suni Lee as her idol.

Last year, when Suni Lee was pouring her heart out in announcing her return to elite gymnastics. That occasion of US Classics displayed the Auburn legend, trying the flips perfectly and winning Olivia Dunne’s thirst aesthetic. So, the latter let Suni know about her satisfaction under the IG post, mentioning the Olympic champion’s return. The proverbial post showcased Olivia’s lines, “My idol”. Even she confessed that in her comment when Suni Lee posted her regular rotation on the bar on January 23 this year. Sunisa Lee thoroughly enjoyed her Auburn Gymnastics to continue her NCAA-level engagements. But to change her WarEagle mindset, Olivia Dunne made certain projects on her social media, overpowering the rivalry between the camps. In one such TikTok video, Livvy claimed, “me trying to convince my Olympic champion friend to transfer to LSU…”. The background sentences of “It would be so awesome, it would be so cool” made the situation more touchy.

Eventually, in February last year, both these two faced each other in the NCAA gymnastics tussle. Eventually Auburn won that bout. But a friendly Olivia Dunne could compel Sunisa Lee to make a duet TikTok video on that occasion. Eventually, that happened, in real. That fangirl in Livvy still lives on, to see her “Idol” rise again.
