The 2017 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open winner has amassed a huge roster of sponsors, handpicked to suit his preferences. Starting with the most recent addition to this roster, asset management giant Apollo Global Management finds a key position on Cantlay’s hat—a previously allocated spot to his ex-sponsor Goldman Sachs.

The 2022 BMW Championship winner is the first-ever athlete to represent the famous New York-based company, Apollo and Athene. This move has been made considering the company’s plan to gain high-net-worth individual clients.

Following the company with $800 billion in assets, Cantlay also finds solace in the embrace of two of Summit Golf Brand’s notable enterprises, B. Draddy and Zero Restriction, for his high-end golf apparel. According to Cantlay, this confluence would assure him of “comfort, style, and performance.” Interestingly, his deals with these high-quality apparel producers come as a replacement for his former luxury apparel deal with Hugo Boss.

Footwear is of immense importance for athletes like the 8-time PGAT champ. So who does he count on to meet his needs of “best fit, comfort, and stability,” when it comes to shoes? This would be FootJoy, especially their DryJoys Tour shoes, which are famous for their old-school style.

Next on the long list of partners that trust the PGAT star and vice versa is Netjets. This is a one-of-a-kind leader in private aviation. Their aim is “to meet—and exceed—the high standards of the world’s most discerning travelers.” Undoubtedly, then, Patrick Cantlay, a player exceeding $42 million in official PGAT money, becomes a perfect choice for the brand to endorse its “industry-leading scale and aviation business model.”

Cantlay’s association with aviation does not end here, though. He is also an official brand ambassador for Delta Air Lines. According to the brand, “Patrick’s drive for success on and off the course is a natural fit with the Delta brand.” He has also partnered with big names like the tech giant Cisco, the brand with an emphasis on the “power of data” ADP, and Full Swing, a leader in sports technology. But what about his golfing equipment? Is he still continuing his deal since turning pro with Titleist?

The short answer to his continuing with Titleist is yes and no. Confusing, right? Well, after being a Titleist family member for over a decade, the star became a free agent in 2023. However, this does not mean that their alliance is completely over. Cantlay still trusts the brand for golf balls and gloves and still seems to have a deal for them.
