Manchester City wasn’t their fluid best against Brentford. The Sky Blues did manage to win the game 1-0, but were far from convincing. And a big reason behind that was the absence of star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian maestro was strangely on the bench. Even worse, Guardiola did not even look to summon his services as Manchester City tried hard to break down Brentford’s defense. This caused a lot of speculation, with KDB’s recent injury history coming to the minds of many. Coach Pep Guardiola has given his update on the matter.

He revealed, “Kevin is okay it’s more caution, prevention that I think. He didn’t feel comfortable, the doctor says a little risk and said okay after five months off we didn’t take any risk about that.
