“My Life is Better Than Yours!” – Manchester City Boss Pep Guardiola Roasts Journalists Over Amusing Question
The love-hate relationship between Pep Guardiola and the media never ceases to exist. The Manchester City coach is known for giving witty responses to the media’s questions. However, with the jubilance after the 1-0 league game win against Brentford, Pep Guardiola took down a journalist’s question by saying that his life was better than his! It sounds pretty harsh, but Pep meant only humor, it seemed.

Pep initially said he was never a journalist when a question came up asking if Erling Haaland was determined to make an impact. The manager was then asked, “First of all, what’s wrong with being a journalist?” to which Pep responded with a laugh, saying, “Oh, I’m a manager; my life is better than yours, so that’s why I wanna be manager; I don’t want to be a journalist absolutely.” However, Pep humorously gave further explanation.
The former Barcelona manager said, “How we be against of the biggest compliments all the time you say to me? I will be against you. No, absolutely, it’s not personal, especially with you, Mr. Lee.”
