Two clear front-runners have emerged to sign Henry. The Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Ravens, the latter tried hard to get Henry in a trade deal last season as well. Hence, it could be possible that we get to see Henry in the Ravens’ colors this upcoming season.
Saquon Barkley
Even though Barkley had a less stellar season compared to his 2022 season. The 27-year-old has been ferocious in all his duties. And the New York Giants showed faith in him by making the RB their franchise tag player last time.
However, it looks like that will not be the case this time around. The Giants are prepared to lose Barkley, and he has plenty of options to choose from. And the Cincinnati Bengals look like the favorites to land the former Giant.
Josh Jacobs
The 2X Pro Bowler renegotiated with the Las Vegas Raiders for a franchise tag last offseason. With the Raiders entering a soft restructuring this season, the 26-year-old could be unaffordable for them.
Josh Jacobs is one of the most sought-after RB free agents. As such, he’ll have his pick to choose from. And if there are some complications with the Henry deal, Jacobs could land a job at the Ravens.
Tony Pollard
Tony Pollard registered his career best in terms of rushing and second-best in rushing yards last season for the Dallas Cowboys. However, the poor team results and the changing of the guards at the coaching level could become a problem for the speedster.
The 27-year-old is firmly looking to stay at the Cowboys. Either through a contract extension or franchise tag. But if things don’t pan out, he has suitors at the Chicago Bears who want him dearly.
