In 2022, John’s mother, Lilian, overcame her fear of heights by skydiving to show her support for her son and others battling muscular dystrophy. Her courage inspired John to wait until he was old enough to do the same.

John describes his skydiving experience as thrilling and motivating. Each moment of his jump represented his unwavering support for his brother and their shared mission. While the skydive provided an exciting experience, it was also driven by a deep mission: to bring attention and funding to Duchenne muscular dystrophy. For John, the jump symbolized a connection and support for his brother George and others facing similar challenges.
