Both of them claim to have dominated the other during this oft-mentioned sparring session. Their past sparring sessions might offer whispers of what’s to come, but the true story will unfold in the ring. The clip became an issue when Ryan Garcia, during a recent altercation, said to Devin Haney how Floyd Mayweather had shown him the video of Tank knocking Devin down. However, many stories are still lingering about this mysterious sparring video, and even Adrien Broner some time ago pitched in regarding this. But his opinions weren’t much appreciated by Devin’s father, Bill Haney.

In the past, Adrien Br0ner had called out Devin Haney. Because of his closeness to Tank, relations are not very amicable between Broner and Haney. In the clip, Broner talked about his supposed involvement in the sparring session between ‘Tank’ Davis and Devin Haney. Broner stated, “I jumped in the ring because, at the time, Devin was 17.” Well, the reply for this was given by Haney’s father.

Bill Haney said, “With more tension brewing between the ‘Tank’ Davis team and the Devin Haney team, all centering around some footage that ‘Dollar Bill’ hasn’t released yet. Gervonta Davis recalls squaring up against Devin Haney

The highly anticipated lightweight showdown between Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney just got even spicier. Haney has ignited the flames by claiming he dominated Davis in their past sparring sessions, which were fought under “dog house rules” (no headgear, harder punches allowed).

Davis, never one to back down, took shots in the same podcast, promising to reveal his side of the story. He said, “But it was like, it was more so of, back and forth, and then once I got tired, it was like a little, he picked up like a little bit. But it was nothing like crazy, like boom, boom, boom. I don’t even talk about like, I caught him in the sparring match and almost knocked him out.”

He also confirmed Broner’s involvement, as he said, “Like Adrien jumped in the ring and like nah it’s over and everybody was just about to fight. Because I caught him and almost knocked him out.” Now, the facts would only be revealed if the sparring footage gets out sometime soon.
