Cody has a very giving heart and has done his fair share of helping society. During the pandemic, he released a new line of American Nightmare T-shirts to be sold as merchandise and announced that the profits from the sales would be directed to the relief of COVID-19 patients.

In 2017, following a match, Cody auctioned off his boots and donated the money to Austin Pets Alive, an organization that takes care of stray dogs and other pets. He also donated the money that came in from the online Twitch tips. All the dogs that were available for adoption on the show found homes following that match.

In the same year, Rhodes made a deal with a fan who asked how much would it cost to be slammed through thumbtacks.
