Standford athlete Hong last competed at San Jose in a two-day event, on Day 1 he scored 85.615, a victorious yell was added to the fascinating performance as he descended gracefully. Asher Hong’s twin win at the continental qualifier

Asher Hong won the all-around competition at the 2023 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships with an impressive score of 170.930. He made history as the first male teen gymnast to win a men’s all-around national title since Tim Ryan and John Orozco in 1989 and 2012, respectively.

It’s worth noting that the American team has not won a medal at a significant international tournament since the 2014 Worlds. However, with the addition of Yul Moldauer, who returned from the Olympics, and the three rookies Young, Richard, and Paul Juda joining Hong in the Worlds team, there is hope for the team this fall.
