Being only few months away, the Paris Olympics is among the highly anticipated events across the globe. The event’s popularity stems from the fierce competition among top contenders in every sport, day after day. In line with this anticipation, Team USA is also preparing for the Olympics while making a significant addition to the team’s roster.

While some of the athletes have made it to accomplish coveted spots, many of them are yet to lock horns for the final battle before punching their tickets to Paris. Recently, USA Olympic trials aspirants made it to the spotlight as they came up on the centre stage for a massive Hollywood shout-out. 

Coming up on the world stage

Recently, team USA took it to their official Twitter account and posted a couple of pictures of some of the aspirants on Team USA’s Olympic trials roster. Along with the pictures they penned, “Our very own @AdelineGray @helen_maroulis and @magicman_psu taking in some @AGT in Hollywood P.S. one of our trio make a guest appearance in one of the acts. Tune in and cheer on @TeamUSA”. The post was a reshare of a video from America’s Got Talent where the host Terry Crews was seen giving a shoutout to Team USA ahead of Paris Olympics.

Diving silver medalists Jessica Parratto and Andrew Capabianco, along with wrestling star and gold medalist David Taylor and Adeline Gray, who has excelled across multiple weights, including a silver medal, were among the stars who appeared on the show.

Some of the athletes are still eyeing the Olympics and are yet to compete at the US Olympic trials scheduled in April to punch their tickets to the Paris Olympics. But, the battle is not as easy as it may seem at first glance because all these aspirants have to overcome intense pressure from top contenders to get the coveted spot. 

Journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics

In the diving sport, both the contenders, Jessica and Andrew, are already qualified for the upcoming Paris Olympics. While Andrew clinched the spot after finishing up at the 3-meter dive at the World Aquatic Championships in Qatar, Jessica, following the same path, punched her tickets to Paris in the Women’s 10m synchronized platform event.

On the other hand, wrestlers David Taylor, Helen Marcoulis, and Adeline have yet to perform. All the wrestlers are considered to be the top-ranking contenders in their respective weight classes. While Helen and Adeline have to overcome competition at each showdown, Taylor will be directly competing in the finals at the US Olympia Trails.
